GP’s - You are invited to practice in family-friendly Edmonton or Calgary in the province of Alberta,where there is always easy access to nature, clean air, great schools, and world-class universities including medical schools.
Our client has opportunities within the six medical clinics they own in the city of Edmonton and in their newest clinic in Calgary. The clinics are multidisciplinary and offer diagnostic imaging services, hearing clinics, and minor surgery facilities. A pharmacy is attached to each clinic for the convenience of your patients!
You will be an independent physician able to practice medicine as you have been trained, set your own hours to achieve a great work-life balance, and be selective about which patients are on your roster. No annual appraisals or other reviews.
Compensation
These clinics offer a fee-for-service compensation model and GP’s who work full-time can achieve gross billings of $700,000 or more, the equivalent of £350,000. Did you know that Alberta has the most generous payment model of any province in Canada. Admin work is at a minimum and you can determine when you will take holidays.
Licensing
Alberta offers accelerated licensing for UK-trained physicians.

Many newcomers are able to buy spacious homes with large yards for much less than in places like Toronto or Vancouver.
